Sakura shippuuden for ImTooHotby ~scruffykitty

So could have finished this earlier, but I like to sit down and paint all in one sitting, usually, and I'm glad I did 'cause I'm really happy with this. The original pencil sketch was done before new years, it was really just a matter of convincing myself to clear all the crap off of my scanner.

This is a prize for ImTooHot, who won the contest I held at drunkduck in conjunction with my Naruto doujinshi. The prize was a full, single character cg painting (which I usually charge $60 for) and she wanted Shippuuden Sakura. I honestly think this is the first time I've drawn any of them post time skip, I'm always to busy drawing my own versions. Anyway, if YOU would like a free comission, I am still offering the same prize to the first person who gets the answer and notes me, the details are here.

Image info: Based off of a pencil sketch, inked with the pen tool in photoshop cs2 (varied the line weights and colours and opacity), and then coloured completely in photoshop cs2. Used my own brushes for everything except for the clouds, which come from

I was going for a in the midst of battle kinda look, as if she was just about to leap out of the tree and go all Inner Sakura on sombody. (hense the scary), but the face could use some work...still learning how to make vector lines look good
